Is it safe to book directly? ▾
Absolutely. EmeraldTide uses OwnerRez, a professional property management platform, paired with Stripe for secure payment processing. Stripe is the same payment processor used by Airbnb, Lyft, Instacart, and Amazon. Your credit card information is encrypted and never stored by us. You'll receive automated booking confirmations, rental agreements, and check-in instructions — just like on any platform.
How much do I actually save? ▾
Typically up to 15% on the total booking cost. For a $1,500 week-long stay, that's $195-$225 in savings. For longer stays or peak season bookings, the savings are even greater. The nightly rate, cleaning fee, and taxes are the same — you simply avoid the platform service fee.
What's the cancellation policy? ▾
Full refund if you cancel 30+ days before check-in. 50% refund for cancellations 14-30 days out. Within 14 days, the booking is non-refundable but can be rescheduled based on availability. We're also flexible with date changes — just reach out and we'll work with you. This is often more generous than the "strict" cancellation policies many Airbnb hosts use.

Yes! Both Crystal Shores and The Enclave are listed on Airbnb — you can easily verify they're real properties with real reviews. We link to the Airbnb listings right on our property pages so you can cross-reference. The only difference is the price: booking direct saves you the Airbnb service fee.
